Memorable Anniversary Days 2023

5,700 customers from 53 countries attended the ARBURG Anniversary Days from March 8 to 11, 2023 at the "Think Tank" in Lossburg, Germany. The event, which goes by the name of Technology Days in other years, featured everything to make a plastics enthusiast's heart beat faster. The exhibition area extended over the entire company: In addition to more than 50 exhibits and innovative applications, ARBURG made an impression with its concentrated expertise in important topics such as sustainability, digitalization, energy efficiency and automation.

A total of over 50 exhibits produced injection-molded and 3D-printed components live at the Anniversary Days. Many new products, exciting applications and innovative processes were on display, with about every other machine processing alternative plastics or recycled materials. innovatiQ's freeformer exhibits and 3D printers showcased the entire portfolio for industrial additive manufacturing.

Highlight: Milestone machine with new technology

In the Customer Center, a hybrid ALLROUNDER 470 H against a golden background attracted a great deal of interest. Its technical features include a new oil management concept, flow rate splitting for simultaneous movements of hydraulic secondary axes and the extended use of the ARBURG servo hydraulic system.

"Action Plan: Energy"

Energy efficiency was an important topic at the Anniversary Days 2023, and the new "Action Plan: Energy" was particularly interesting in this respect. The plan includes advice on a host of measures to help customers significantly reduce costs in injection molding production and optimize energy requirements throughout the entire production process, beyond the machine itself.

Focus on sustainability and digitalization

In the Efficiency Arena, everything revolved around the focal points of digitalization, resource conservation and the circular economy. At a total of nine stations, six on the topic of arburgGREENworld and three on arburgXworld, ARBURG and selected partners along the entire value chain demonstrated the ways in which digitalization and innovative solutions enable a sustainable circular economy. ARBURG also presented its strategies for sustainability, the arburgXworld customer portal and the ALS host computer system in the Efficiency Arena.

100 years of the Hehl family company

To mark the company's centenary, there was also a special event location to visit this year: the ARBURG Cube, where visitors could embark on a multimedia journey through the 100-year history of the Hehl family company. Another special feature of the Anniversary Days 2023 took place on March 8 when the 100,000th visitor was welcomed to this sector event, which has attracted thousands of customers from all over the world to Lossburg every year since 1999.
