ARBURG Indonesia signed MoU with ATMI IGI Center

ARBURG Indonesia signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ATMI IGI Center (ATMI Polytechnic’s Teaching Industry in Mold Making and Plastic Injection) to develop the capabilities of the injection Moulding process, training students and demonstrate the possibilities of innovative plastic injection moulding process in Indonesia.

A corporation to enhance injection moulding capabilities in Indonesia

ATMI IGI Center is a professional institute leading in sustainable product development. The center has been implementing a unique dual Vocational Education system approach aligned with educative production in the field of mold making, sustainable product development, as well as plastic- and biodegradable injection.

The MoU was signed in the presence of Mr. Yustinus Wahyo Nursanto, the Director of ATMI IGI Center. He stated, “We aim to provide high-quality products with a strong commitment to creating innovation and efficiency for customer satisfaction. Therefore, we are corroborating with ARBURG to fully equip ATMI IGI Center with high-tech injection moulding machine”.

ARBURG Indonesia has provided a brand new ALLROUNDER 470 H 1000-290 to ATMI IGI Center for use as a showcase for training and workshops. Mr. Haryadi Mulyono, Branch Manager of ARBURG Indonesia added on this collaboration, “We provided a sophisticated ALLROUNDER 470 H 1000-290 with IoT machine connectivity implemented. It can be utilized with ATMI’s plan to prepare new educational programme focusing on industrial digitalisation”.

One of ARBURG missions is to lead in technology transfer for Industry 4.0, especially in plastics processing. ARBURG Indonesia is immensely proud to support ATMI IGI Center in becoming a major development hub to assist manufacturers in Indonesia in implementing Industry 4.0. The collaboration between ARBURG and ATMI IGI Center will enhance innovation and technological development within the plastics industry in Indonesia. Polytechnic ATMI (initially known as Technical Academy for Manufacturing Industry) has a long journey in collaborating with Germany, and ATMI IGI (Indonesian German Institute) Center is established in celebrating momentum of Indonesia-German Technical Project in 2001-2009. The presence of New Arburg Machine will strengthen this Indonesian German Connection in dual Vocational Education Development in ATMI, furthermore for the benefit of Indonesian plastic industry development.
