ATC Radevormwald celebrates its anniversary!

On 19 and 20 May 2022, the 40th anniversary of ATC Radevormwald was celebrated in the presence of Managing Partners Juliane and Michael Hehl and Managing Director Technology, Guido Frohnhaus. The exclusive anniversary event and the open day were each attended by around 160 enthusiastic guests.

Michael Hehl presents anniversary sculpture

In his speech, Michael Hehl thanked the director of the ATC, Ulf Moritz, and his team on behalf of ARBURG’s owners, the Hehl and Keinath families, and the entire ARBURG organisation for their many years of dedicated and successful work. The highlight of the evening was when he presented the traditional ARBURG anniversary sculpture alongside his sister, Juliane Hehl.

Successful ATC concept

The first ARBURG Technology Center (ATC) – then known as the Info Center – opened in Radevormwald in 1982. This was and is today a sought-after contact point for customers from all over northern and western Germany.
The concept in Radevormwald was so successful that ARBURG has since established many other ATCs in America, Asia and Europe. For customers from south-eastern Germany, there has also been a location in Rednitzhembach for a long time. The ATCs each combine service, spare parts supply, application technology consulting and training under one roof. Customers receive comprehensive pre-sales and after-sales service in the areas of injection moulding technology, additive manufacturing and digitalisation.

Fantastic open house event

In addition to the anniversary celebration, ARBURG’s guests were also treated to an open house on the following day. A total of seven ALLROUNDERs and three exhibits for additive manufacturing demonstrated innovative injection moulding applications and ARBURG Plastic Freeforming. The topics of automation, digital solutions and the assistance functions of the GESTICA control system, which were also demonstrated live, also met with great interest.
