29 trainees celebrate graduation

On 12 May 2023, 29 industrial ARBURG trainees celebrated their graduation. Renate Keinath, Managing Partner and responsible for Human Resources Management, congratulated the graduates and thanked the trainers. Training manager Michael Vieth presented the certificates, including five prizes. All trainees are being taken on as permanent employees.

Training and digitalisation

The 29 graduates completed their apprenticeship in industrial mechanics, construction mechanics, technical product design and electronics for automation technology and mechatronics. Renate Keinath emphasised how challenging it had been to train during the Covid-19 pandemic and that the newly acquired digital skills can be an advantage for further professional life.

Unique training cohort

At the beginning of his speech, training manager Michael Vieth pointed out how special the training cohort is. For example, the trainees were involved in mask production during the pandemic and were the first employees to be featured on the Instagram channel "arburg_rookies," which now boasts over 400 posts. In addition, the then 15-year-old Dennis Finkbeiner was the youngest trainee to start his training at ARBURG.
