100 years of the Hehl family company in Thailand

During the morning and afternoon sessions, guests were invited to visit the ARBURG Thailand showroom, where they had the opportunity to witness a demonstration of the new ALLROUNDER 470 H integrated with the intelligent FLEXLIFT robotic system. The hybrid ALLROUNDER 470 H is the perfect combination of an electric clamping unit and a hydraulic injection unit, offering an exceptional performance in terms of energy efficiency, resource conservation, production efficiency, user-friendliness, and reliability.

Mr. Ruben Sander, the Director of Operations for ASEAN, expressed his enthusiasm for the 100th-anniversary celebration and announced three special gifts for customers. He highlighted the first gift as the introduction of a new generation of ARBURG machines. Specifically, the hybrid ALLROUNDER 470 H was designed to provide customers with an energy-saving alternative to hydraulic machines while retaining the advantages of electrical machines.

He further emphasized the second gift, which introduced the new ARBURG robotic family - FLEXLIFT. This intelligent, flexible, and precise robotic system is exclusively manufactured in Asia to cater to the specific needs of the Asian market. Lastly, Mr. Sander unveiled the third gift, which involved expanding the range of automation and turnkey solutions specifically for Asia. A team of mechanical and electrical engineers at the ARBURG technology factory in Pinghu is dedicated to designing and implementing complete automation solutions tailored for Asian customers.

ARBURG has always prioritized environmental and social responsibility, which is deeply ingrained in our corporate values. In line with this commitment, we have established the arburgGREENworld program. To commemorate the 100-year anniversary of the Hehl family company, ARBURG Thailand collaborated with leading companies in the plastic industry in Thailand to organise a special event. As part of this celebration, we had the honor of releasing 10 baby sea turtles into the sea.

To make this milestone celebration even more meaningful, ARBURG Thailand provide a financial contribution of 100,000 baht. This donation was directed towards supporting the Marine and Coastal Resources Research and Development Centre located at Mannai Island, where the sea turtle nursery is located. The funds will be utilised to enhance the sea turtle hatchery efforts and improve the survival rate of injured sea turtles affected by plastic pollution. Our ultimate objective is to contribute to the preservation of sea turtles and address the environmental challenges they face due to plastic pollution and create a sustainable future for our oceans.
