ARBURG at Chinaplas 2019
The digital future of plastics processing
ARBURG will be presenting the digital future of plastics processing at Chinaplas in Guangzhou, China, from May 21 through 24, 2019. Innovative technologies for digitalization, injection molding, automation, and additive manufacturing will be on display at stand A41 in hall 5.1.
Industry pioneer in the field of digitalization
"Digital transformation is a topic that we as industry leaders have been focusing on for years, and one that we are currently defining with our 'Road to Digitalization' campaign," explains Zhao Tong, Managing Director of the ARBURG organizations in China. "We show our customers how our innovative solutions for injection molding, additive manufacturing, and automation can help them stay on track for success as we join them on the road to the digital future of plastics processing. This allows them to fully meet all requirements in accordance with the state's 'Made in China 2025' industrial development plan."
Arburg setting the course for the digital future
The new customer portal, which will be presented in Chinese for the first time at Chinaplas, provides a variety of services in a clear and well coordinated manner using a cloud-based solution. The central applications (apps) include the "Machine overview", which contains important information and documents for each machine, the "Spare parts catalog", and the "Service Center". In addition, visitors have an opportunity to find out more about the six digital ARBURG assistance packages for startup, setup, optimization, production, monitoring, and servicing on ALLROUNDER injection molding machines and can experience the potential of augmented reality (AR) for service purposes first hand based on a practical example.
LSR processing: watches produced within the injection molding cycle
A hydraulic two-component ALLROUNDER 570 S fully automatically produces two two-color watch straps from LSR in a cycle time of 70 seconds. Assembly of the wristwatch takes place within the injection molding cycle by means of a linear Multilift V 15 robotic system. It removes the wrist straps and sets them down in a cooling station and then moves them to an assembly station. Here, they are fitted with the watch housing and a ready-to-use clasp.
ALLROUNDER GOLDEN ELECTRIC: Breathing mask made from PC
An automated ALLROUNDER GOLDEN ELECTRIC produces breathing masks for babies in a cycle time of 15 seconds using a single-cavity mold from Mehow. The 2.98 gram molded parts made from PC are removed and set down by a MULTILIFT SELECT linear robotic system.
freeformer 200-3X for industrial additive manufacturing
ARBURG Plastic Freeforming will be presented with a freeformer 200-3X and various functional components made from a wide variety of original materials, including newly qualified materials.
