25 years of ARBURG Netherlands

Silver anniversary celebrated in style

06.11.2018
ARBURG's Dutch subsidiary celebrated its 25th anniversary over a period of three days. This started with an open-house event on October 30 and 31, 2018. The highlight of the next day was an exclusive evening event with around 80 guests, including high-ranking representatives of the ARBURG parent Company.

Thanks to customers and employees
In this festive setting, Managing Partner Renate Keinath presented the traditional anniversary sculpture to Gerrit Hazeleger, Managing Director of ARBURG BV. In her speech she emphasized the achievements of ARBURG's Dutch team: "Their outstanding commitment and high level of expertise are highly valued by customers and are an important factor in the success story of ARBURG in the Netherlands." Together with Managing Director Sales Gerhard Böhm, Renate Keinath thanked customers and employees for the successful development of the subsidiary.

Presence for over 60 years
Gerhard Böhm gave a review on the success story of ARBURG in the Netherlands. This began with the sale of the first ARBURG injection molding machine to Dutch company Draka in 1957. In response to the successful market development, ARBURG then founded a subsidiary in Nieuw-Vennep in 1993 in a move designed to intensify local customer support. The next milestone followed in 2005 with the construction of a new building for the company in Utrecht. As a success factor contributing to the growth of ARBURG in the Netherlands, the Managing Director Sales mentioned not only the high-performance machines and systems but also the excellent support provided by the local team.

Open house event illuminates key topics
The topics of packaging, Industry 4.0, additive manufacturing and bio-plastics were intensively analyzed at the two-day open-house event in the subsidiary's premises in Utrecht. The innovative applications presented on the four exhibits and the expert presentations offered visitors a comprehensive overview of trends in plastics processing and ARBURG's products and services.
