The electric injection moulding machine is characterized by electrical precision and process stability as well as a small footprint and offers high component quality at low investment costs and short delivery times.
The innovative "aXw Control RecyclatePilot" is a simple, safe and cost-effective way of achieving consistently uniform mold filling and therefore stable injection moulding processes for high-quality parts. The "intelligent", software-based assistance function in the control system of ALLROUNDER injection molding machines actively compensates for fluctuations in material quality when processing plastic pellets. This works particularly well when processing post-consumer (PCR) and post-industrial recyclates (PIR) and regrind. However, the RecyclatePilot is also advantageous, for example, when changing materials from virgin material or for uneven material drying.
The ihD decentralized servo inverter from AMKmotion has a hybrid cabling concept. One cable transmits power, STO, 24 V and communication and connects all connected components using the daisy chain method. This significantly reduces installation work and cabling costs. In its performance class, the ihD5 is more compact than comparable competitor products in the decentralized inverter sector.
3D printing and automated injection molding processes can complement each other perfectly, especially when it comes to equipment and robotic grippers required at short notice. A practical example of this is the injection molding of plant pots in large series. A special packaging automation system with grippers that are precisely adapted to the product is used to gently remove them from the mold. The grippers can be produced on demand using 3D printers - faster, more flexible, more cost-effective and two to three times lighter than a comparable product made of aluminum. The stable black centerpiece was additively manufactured at ARBURG using a TiQ printer made of fiber-reinforced filament. The four white gripper rings in a hard/soft combination were produced by a freeformer from two standard plastic pellets.
