Çağrı Ünver takes over ARBURG Turkey

Çağrı Ünver becomes the new Managing Director of ARBURG Turkey. On 1 April, he will officially take over the management of ARBURG Plastik Enjeksiyon Makinaları San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti in Istanbul, succeeding Engin Malcan. After around 24 years at the helm of the company, Engin Malcan will step down from the management board on 31 March 2025 due to his age.

Multinational technology expert with a focus on development

Çağrı Ünver has extensive expertise in sensor technology, automation, production and digitalisation. With management experience in technology, production and sales in Europe, he knows the dynamics of the Turkish market inside out. He studied mechanical engineering at Boğaziçi University and completed an Executive MBA at Koç University. Most recently, he was CEO of a leading sensor and network technology company in Istanbul for over nine years. Until March, he underwent an intensive induction programme at ARBURG for his new role.

ARBURG has been present on the Bosporus for 58 years. Founded in 1996, the Turkish subsidiary has developed into an important base for the company in 24 years under Engin Malcan. With several thousand machines and robotic systems installed and a first-class service team, he made a significant contribution to Arburg's reputation beyond the country's borders.
