During an expert presentation, Andrea Sánchez and Jürgen Giesow explained why the ALLROUNDER TREND represents a strong solution for standard injection molding applications. Beyond its technical features, the machine supports customers in achieving a balanced total cost of ownership (TCO) while reducing energy consumption—two key factors in today’s competitive economic environment.
The Open House featured keynote sessions from leading industry experts. Benjamín del Arco, President of ANIPAC, shared insights on the circular economy, including current challenges and regulatory developments shaping the plastics industry. Nicolás Cantoni, Managing Director of EMI Plastics Mexico, focused on automation strategies, particularly end-of-arm tooling and how to achieve efficient integration between the machine and automation systems – an approach aligned with the simplicity and usability of the ALLROUNDER TREND. Additional contributions from Roberto Alvizouri, Sales Area Manager for the Bajío region, and Cutberto Juárez, Head of Applications in Mexico, provided practical guidance on selecting the right machine configuration, followed by a live demonstration.
For the event, the ALLROUNDER 1000 e TREND produced a technical PP ring clip in a four-cavity mold, achieving a cycle time of 15 seconds. Conducted in collaboration with Oechsler Mexico, this demonstration clearly showcased the machine’s efficiency, reliability, and suitability for high-quality standard production.
The electric ALLROUNDER TREND machines can be set up quickly, are easy to maintain and produce injection-molded parts extremely reliably, energy-efficiently and cost-effectively. They are available with short delivery lead times in four sizes with clamping forces ranging from 500 to 2,000 kN. Injection speeds range from 200 to 500 millimeters per second. For automated injection molding production, the new TREND machines can be equipped with all ARBURG robot systems and suitable compact guards, fully integrated into the control system and also incorporated into complex turnkey systems. The new GESTICA lite control system features an intuitive user interface with a clear dashboard that makes operation delightfully simple, even for non-qualified personnel.
