Important location for Southeast Europe
Since 2000, customers in Romania have been supported by an ARBURG trading partner, from which the majority of the new subsidiary's service technicians have also been recruited. As a result, eleven employees, all of whom have a wealth of experience as ARBURG service technicians and are already known to customers, will be working in Bucharest from the outset. "We want to offer our existing customers in Romania comprehensive advice and services and gain new customers in the process," explains Dr. Daniel Orel. As Romania is a large country in terms of area, the company will continue to work with a decentralized service organization in order to reach customers quickly on site. Romania is making increasing technological progress. While previously it was predominantly a market for hydraulic machines, there are now more electric machines and the proportion of robotic systems and automation is also growing. By founding its own subsidiary in Bucharest, ARBURG aims to intensify existing partnerships and establish new contacts in order to further expand ARBURG's market position in Romania.
