arburgGREENworld pavilion

As part of the "Power of Plastics Forum" at K 2025, we will be bringing the topic of sustainability to life in our arburgGREENworld pavilion. At various stations and presentations in the pavilion, you can learn more about how the future of plastics as a recyclable material can be actively shaped.

Turning waste into recyclate

Using a great deal of creativity and technical expertise, our trainees have developed and built a "recyclate bike". What makes it special is that, with pure muscle power, it can be used to shred waste such as yoghurt pots – a striking example of how used plastic products can be efficiently processed and returned to the material cycle.

Turning recyclate into model dolphins

A turnkey system built around an electric ALLROUNDER 1000 e TREND will be producing small plastic dolphins in a fully automatic process. The material used is a post-consumer recyclate (PCR) made from old fishing nets.

Fascinating presentation topics

Join us for presentations on current environmental topics. ARBURG brand ambassador Andreas Fath, known as "the swimming professor", will give a report on microplastics. Carbonauten, a startup, will show how CO₂-negative compounds can reduce emissions. ABT will demonstrate the use of e-fuels in motorsports, and ARBURG itself will provide insights into sustainable production with a minimal carbon footprint.
