Interesting panel discussion

The ARBURG Packaging Summit took place on 25 and 26 June 2019 with some 120 guests from all over the world. Leading experts from industry, research and various associations provided information on trends, resource efficiency, and the circular economy in the packaging sector.

The final panel discussion chaired by Guido Marschall of Plas.TV was one of the highlights at the Packaging Summit. Gerhard Böhm (ARBURG), Thorsten Kühmann (VDMA), Manfred Hackl (Erema), Professor Hans-Josef Endres (IfBB Institute for Bioplastics and Biocomposites, Hanover University of Applied Sciences and Arts) and Philip Knapen (Borealis) discussed the current situation in the packaging sector, the insights gained during the event, and the tasks ahead. During the panel discussion, Gerhard Böhm also explained how ARBURG is bundling its activities in the field of resource efficiency and circular economy in its “arburgGREENworld” initiative.
