ARBURG at Moldplas 2019
"arburgXworld" in Portugal for the first time
ARBURG will be presenting "arburgXworld" to the Portuguese market for the first time at Moldplas, which is set to take place from 6 to 9 November in Batalha. At stand 3B10 in hall 20, the company will showcase the portal, which made its debut at K 2019 and is part of the digital world of ARBURG, along with various other digital products and services. In addition, a "smart" ALLROUNDER exhibit will demonstrate in a practical manner how digital networking can be used to produce multi-variant products "on demand" and economically in series.
Focus on digitalisation
"Our customers are becoming more and more interested in the subject of Industry 4.0 and the networking of their injection moulding machines with software. This means that production data can be recorded and analysed in real time and makes it possible to significantly increase production efficiency and transparency," explains Martín Cayre, Managing Director of Arburg in Portugal and Spain. "With 'arburgXworld' we offer them exactly the right products and services. For example, our new customer portal makes day-to-day business much easier. Machine lists can be accessed, spare parts ordered and service support requested at the click of a mouse. We also present an exciting turnkey application."
"arburgXworld" – ARBURGs digital world
At Moldplas 2019, trade visitors will be able to receive comprehensive information about how to make their injection moulding production even more transparent and efficient with "arburgXworld" and how to obtain round-the-clock support on service topics. The customer portal includes, for example, the free apps "Machine Center" for a quick overview of the machine fleet, "Service Center" for time-saving ordering of services and "Shop" for quick online ordering of spare parts around the clock. After K 2019, there will also be additional paid apps and features that offer considerable added value.
Turnkey system: Tension straps "on demand"
As a "smart exhibit", a turnkey system built around a vertical ALLROUNDER 375 V will produce elastic tension straps "on demand". At Moldplas, visitors can choose between tension straps of different lengths, colours and end piece combinations and can enter the variant of their choice directly at the terminal. The turnkey system produces the tension straps "on demand" on a flexible shot-to-shot basis – with no need for conversions, thanks to a clever product and mould design and Industry 4.0 components.
