A turnkey system based on an electric ALLROUNDER 570 A produces high-quality pump housings using the thermoset injection moulding process. The system enables the automated overmoulding of inserts, thus ensuring an efficient, reproducible production process. The material used is moist polyester (BMC), which is characterised by high mechanical strength and rigidity. The ACH Turnmix dosing system, which has a configuration specially designed for medium-sized injection units, ensures a continuous and even material feed. The requirements of thermoset injection moulding are reliably met by highly wear resistant cylinder modules, special screws and a functionally enhanced machine controller for venting and injection compression moulding.
