The tube and the label are both made of polypropylene (PP), meaning that the product is made from a single material and is therefore easily recyclable.

The precise positioning of the ultra-thin labels with just 0.2 mm spacing significantly reduces quality deviations and rejects.

ALLROUNDER 520 A "Ultimate"
The centrepiece of the system is an electric ALLROUNDER 520 A "Ultimate" with a clamping force of 1,500 kN, designed for fast and sophisticated processes. The servo-electric drives of the high-performance machine ensure precise mould positioning and reproducible injection.
Turnkey system
As a system integrator, ARBURG offers customised production cells from a single source. In this example, components from Beck Automation, Kebo and Intravis, among others, were combined to create a smoothly functioning turnkey system.
Integrated functions
Thanks to the scratch-resistant label, the tubes offer a precise scale for indicating the fill level and additional functions such as temperature monitoring and QR codes for recycling and storage information. In the future, an RFID code could even enable process, quality and patient data to be fully traceable.

Clean-room technology
