77 trainees and students
Welcome to ARBURG!
On 1 September 2021, the starting signal was given and a total of 77 new trainees and students from the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) started their training at ARBURG. Managing Partner Renate Keinath extended a warm welcome to the new trainees and students.
Start of professional life
“Employees with first-class training and a broad range of specialist knowledge are very important for ARBURG's innovative strength and international competitiveness,” said Renate Keinath in her address, adding that: “For many companies, giving young people a successful start to their careers is not something that is entirely a matter of course in these times of coronavirus. We, on the other hand, are continuing our training unabated!”
During an exciting introductory week, the new trainees and students will have the opportunity to get to know both the company and each other – in compliance with the hygiene policy, of course. At the company, there will then be activities such as tours of the facility, a presentation of the ARBURG product portfolio, and an introduction to the individual departments. Training manager Michael Vieth and his team of instructors have also organized team-building events and an off-site barbecue.
Latest machine and learning technology
Thanks to the innovative and triple-certified training system, the 16-strong team of instructors led by training manager Michael Vieth can react flexibly to individual requirements even in challenging times. Basic training takes place in the 2,000-square-meter Vocational Training Center with state-of-the-art machine and learning technology. Brand new from this year is the method of action-oriented teaching and learning. Innovative learning methods also included home schooling during the coronavirus pandemic.
