Conserving resources and increasing efficiency

We have pooled our activities in relation to the circular economy and conservation of resources in our “arburgGREENworld” programme. Our goals are to continuously increase production efficiency in all areas of plastics processing, to reduce its carbon footprint over the long term, and to promote the use of recyclates and bioplastics.

GREENmachine

GREENmachine

Resource-friendly production starts with operating the injection moulding machines in an energy-saving way, and processing the materials used both reliably and efficiently – particularly in the case of recyclates and bioplastics. High-quality machine technology and extensive process expertise are an essential part of this. more...

GREENproduction

GREENproduction

The aim of “GREENproduction” is to process valuable materials efficiently. Preserving resources thus results in production efficiency. New technologies and a digital network for the entire value chain are catalysts for a sustainable circular economy and also for increased competitiveness. more...

GREENservices

GREENservices

We actively pursue important issues such as resource-friendly production and the reusability of plastic products (design for recycling). For us, the transfer of expertise and sound advice – for example on production efficiency, the carbon footprint, or the use of recyclates – are an integral element of this. more...

GREENenvironment

GREENenvironment

Since the company was founded in 1923, we have manufactured our products exclusively in Lossburg in the Black Forest, a region with the highest density of habitats and nature reserves in Germany. This has shaped us. And it shows: ARBURG was one of the first companies to be awarded triple certification for quality, environment and energy as early as 2012. more...

Best Practices

Best Practices

“Increased use of post-consumer recyclates (PCRs)", "degradability" or "design for recycling" are approaches that only function in a perfectly networked value chain. We recognise the dimensions of these types of extensive circular economy projects, and are doing our utmost to contribute to solutions. more...
