The new ALLROUNDER EDRIVE series machines have been designed to enable cost-effective entry into the world of electric injection moulding machines. With their sophisticated, top equipment, they are ideally suited for technical injection moulding and represent a modern electric alternative to basic hydraulic machines. They permit energy consumption reductions of up to 50 percent.

Application examples

Micro counter wheel
Precision small parts, such as micro counter wheels weighing only 0.004 g, can be produced to a high standard on optimised ARBURG standard machines. A special micro-production cell enables us to offer you an efficient solution for shot weights measured in milligrams.

Football boot sole
Modern football boots are made almost entirely from plastic. Their high-end functional components influence e.g. the speed and shooting technique of the footballer. With this product, short product life cycles require future-proof know-how and a high level of flexibility in production.

Twelve toothbrushes per cycle are produced as a hard/soft combination using the two-component process. The moulded part carriers of the continuously rotating paternoster mould roll from station to station via two servo-electric drives. The cycle time is 20 seconds.

Flow straightener
An injection moulding system with an electric ALLROUNDER 570 A will be used to fully produce, inspect and package a flow straightener made from PBT and LSR for a shower fitting. Hot and cold-runner technologies are combined in a 2+2 cavity mould for the soft/hard combination.

Ball point pen clips
An electric ALLROUNDER 470 E with a clamping force of 1,000 kN and a 24-cavity mould produces ball point pen clips weighing 1.15 g from ABS in a cycle time of 22 seconds. An electric INTEGRALPICKER V removes the sprues. The device can be programmed using the SELOGICA control system, shortening set-up times.
