ARBURG at formnext 2019

The potential of ARBURG Plastic Freeforming

At formnext, the world's leading trade fair for additive manufacturing, to be held from 19 to 22 November 2019 in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, ARBURG will be presenting the potential of ARBURG Plastic Freeforming (APF) with four freeformers in Hall 12.1, Stand D121. The focus will be on medical technology

Medical components made of original plastics
By processing a medical technology material on a freeformer 200-3X, ARBURG is demonstrating the advantages of the APF process for this demanding industry. As an open system, the freeformer is predestined for medical technology, since individually customised parts can be produced and original plastics can be processed, such as bioresorbable plastics, PLA or other FDA-certified materials.

Technology in detail and a look to the future
With the second freeformer 200-3X, trade visitors will be able to take a close look at the technology of the system. A large freeformer 300-3X equipped with three discharge units will show how the increased build chamber temperature can be used for processing technical plastics. As a technological outlook, ARBURG will be using a further exhibit to show how fibre-reinforced components can be produced. The presentation of various APF components will round off Arburg's trade fair presence.
