Technology Days 2021 extended
Exciting in-person event
In order to make the unique Technology Days 2021 COVID-secure for invited guests, ARBURG has decided to extend the event to six days in addition to moving it to June. The event will now start on 7 June and last until 12 June.
Hands-on technology and personal support
"After such a long period with no in-person events, we want once again to offer our customers innovations and sophisticated applications for plastics processing 'live and in colour' in June 2021," explained Juliane Hehl, Managing Partner and Head of Marketing. "Besides our hybrid and digital events, which we have successfully progressed in recent months, personal contact with our customers is and remains extremely important. This is why we are doing everything we can to make our globally renowned and esteemed Technology Days a successful and exciting physical event this year."
Technology Days in the summer
Due to the coronavirus situation, a decision was made as early as September 2020 to postpone this year's event from the traditional March date to early summer. This year, after obligatory pre-registration, invited guests will be personally looked after in small groups and guided through the company at defined timeslots. This will ensure that there are not too many visitors on site at the same time. In its planning, ARBURG is continuing to rely on the epidemiological situation changing for the better by June 2021, supported by the vaccinations that have already begun.
Worth a visit
The extensive premises of ARBURG's headquarters offer sufficient space to present a large number of interesting exhibits at the required distance. The machines, turnkey systems and digital products and services are spread across the Customer Center, ARBURG Prototyping Center, Efficiency Arena, Training Center, and assembly halls.
The Efficiency Arena is set to be a crowd puller again in 2021, with arburgGREENworld and arburgXworld as the focal points. A large number of application examples on the circular economy, resource conservation, digitalisation, and the customer portal will also be showcased.
