Successful Info Days 2020

Focus on training

Despite Covid 19: Around 350 students and parents visited the ARBURG Info Days 2020 on 3 and 4 July – naturally observing all the required hygiene precautions. The guests were impressed by the excellent support, in-depth information and advice on the 15 options for vocational traineeships offered by ARBURG.

Secure traineeships
“The fact that we are able to offer permanent employment to practically all trainees and students every year, and that we are again providing 69 young people with a successful start to their careers this year, is a result of careful strategic planning”, emphasizes Renate Keinath, Managing Partner at ARBURG and responsible for for Human Resources Management.
“Despite the current crisis, we are not putting the brakes on training and are planning for even more traineeships in 2021. ARBURG will then be employing a total of 226 trainees”, confirms Training Manager Michael Vieth.

Training team in action
The trainees and students of the DHBW (Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University) from the Info Days group had organized the event largely on their own. Due to mandatory registration and the limited number of participants, sufficient distancing was always ensured. Around 150 of the approximately 200 trainees and DHBW students as well as 13 trainers were on duty during the two Info Days to present the various professions and provide answers to more in-depth questions about traineeships and DHBW courses. Supported by a total of 80 guides, visitors had an opportunity to visit the 2,000-m² training center, ask questions and obtain detailed information about applying for a traineeship or university course.
