In her address, Juliane Hehl emphasised the outstanding performance of the Swiss ARBURG team over the past 25 years and presented Marcel Spadini with the traditional anniversary sculpture, “25 Years of ARBURG Switzerland.”

25 years of success
Managing Partner Gerhard Böhm pointed out the importance of the Swiss subsidiary: “We’ve been the market leader in Switzerland for many years, and we consider ARBURG AG a gem in our international subsidiary network.” He thanked the customers for their trust in ARBURG technology and the many successful cooperation projects in the past decades.

Looking back on decades of success
The Managing Director also presented the highlights of ARBURG’s presence in Switzerland, which began as much as fifty years ago with the delivery of the first ALLROUNDERs, which were supported for many years by the trading partner, Hatag. In 1994, the newly founded subsidiary started with a team of twelve, which has grown to twenty in the meantime. Other milestones included the move into a building owned by ARBURG in Münsingen in 2001, and the change of the management team in 2009. Since Peter Moser retired ten years ago, Marcel Spadini has been adding new pages to the success story of ARBURG AG. As the guest of honour, Peter Moser shared some anecdotes from his time at ARBURG, which began in 1971 when he joined Hatag.

Experts look ahead
However, the real focus of the event wasn’t on the past, but on the future. Numerous exhibits and applications illustrated the potential of injection moulding, additive manufacturing, and digitalisation.

A thriving plastic materials family
“With our open anniversary event, we didn’t just want to thank our customers for the long-standing collaboration, but we also wanted to show them how we may continue our successful partnership,” Marcel Spaldini said. He added that the thoroughly positive feedback from the guests confirmed that we achieved this goal. “Everybody was in a great mood, and this demonstrated that we as plastic materials experts in Switzerland are a true family and well prepared for future challenges.”
