The world's largest in-house event for the plastics industry
Between 1999 and 2019, ARBURG has welcomed more than 93,000 visitors to the Technology Days in Lossburg. For every second visitor, this is their first visit to the Technology Days and the first opportunity to get to know ARBURG "up close and personal". For 2019, the largest overseas contingents, with around 140 and 110 participants, came from North America and China. Around 660 employees and trainees played an active part in the event. They showed impressive commitment and made the time in Lossburg an unforgettable experience for the visitors. More than 1,877 visitors also took the opportunity afforded by the factory tours to become familiar with machine production.
Road to Digitalisation
During the Technology Days 2019, the "Road to Digitalisation" stretched across the entire company. Along this road, visitors could experience which digital ARBURG solutions for "smart machines", "smart production" and "smart services" will enable them to make plastics processing even easier, more transparent and more efficient. Numerous highlights were presented, ranging from the new "arburgXworld" customer portal and AR/VR to a filling simulation integrated into the GESTICA control system.
