ARBURG Technolino Day 2017
Kindergarten children enjoy a voyage of discovery
Around 50 kindergarten children from Lossburg attended the ARBURG Technolino Day 2017 on 17 May. The young guests were able to discover everything about the company for themselves. The day was organised by 16 ARBURG trainees, who showed great commitment in taking care of the children.
A voyage of discovery at ARBURG
The ARBURG trainees had put together a wide-ranging programme for the kindergarten children that was designed to inspire an interest in technology among even the youngest. This included guided tours that gave the children the opportunity to experience injection moulding machines "live" and to learn how building blocks or toy cars can be produced with ARBURG machines. The highlight came when the young guests were able to produce buttons together with the trainees, pressing them on small machines.
Successful Technolino concept
ARBURG has been collaborating with Lossburg's kindergartens since 2012. "Children who are already involved in technical tasks and solutions at an early stage may also be interested in training with ARBURG later on," says Michael Vieth, explaining the purpose of the Technolino Day. The 16 trainees, who had prepared the day with great dedication, showed that this concept works.
