Sustainable production with PCR: OSKO opts for ARBURG

OSKO uses post-consumer recyclate (PCR) sourced from household plastic waste to manufacture lightweight, thin-walled plant pots. The pots are produced on an all-electric ALLROUNDER 720 A, with a MULTILIFT robot with special grippers handling removal. The decision to opt for ARBURG was based on the company's goal of continuously optimising its processes to make them more energy and resource efficient.

carbonauten: CO₂ binding instead of emissions

ARBURG is working with a start-up company called carbonauten to develop CO₂-neutral masterbatches and compounds ("NET Materials") for industrial use. Thanks to pyrolysis, these technical biocarbons bind up to 3.67 tonnes of CO₂ equivalent per tonne.

Fully automated: Production of biodegradable French fry trays

A turnkey system built around an ALLROUNDER 470 C GOLDEN EDITION produces a recyclable and biodegradable French fry tray in just 15 seconds. The MULTILIFT SELECT 6 integrated into the control system removes the trays and places them on a conveyor belt. A mobile YASKAWA cobot with an integrated camera system picks them up and stacks them precisely.

Turnkey system for complete junction boxes

Argentinian manufacturer Genrod produces finished junction boxes for domestic installations on a production cell with two ALLROUNDERs: a two-component 820 S machine for the covers and a 720 S machine for the housings. Both machines work hand in hand. Two MULTILIFT robots are responsible for removal and set-down on conveyor belts. The components are checked manually, then automatically completed with connecting parts and screws and packed in shrink film
