Ten years ARBURG Mexico

Subsidiary celebrates anniversary

On 12 April 2018, ARBURG celebrated "Ten Years of ARBURG in Mexico" with around 150 invited guests. During the festive evening event in Querétaro, Managing Partner Juliane Hehl presented the traditional anniversary sculpture to subsidiary manager Guillermo Fasterling.

Thanks for the ARBURG team
Juliane Hehl thanked the subsidiary team for their particular commitment on behalf of the owner families and the entire ARBURG parent company. "We are honouring your highly motivated, long-standing and successful work with a very special present," said Juliane Hehl as she presented the commemorative sculpture to Guillermo Fasterling, who has headed the Mexican subsidiary from the outset and successfully established and expanded the business. He was also honoured for ten years' company service together with Gonzalo Mendoza, Service Manager, Juan Luna, Service Technician, and Pedro Mora, Regional Sales Manager.

Successful development in Mexico
Managing Director Sales Gerhard Böhm also expressed his thanks to the staff and, in particular, to the customers for the trust they had placed in ARBURG and for the successful cooperation over the past years: "This confirms that we chose the right path in 2008 and our ongoing investments in this market have paid dividends." The success story for ARBURG in Mexico began in the 1980s, as Gerhard Böhm outlined in his review: initially, trading partners looked after the mainly domestic customers. Over the years, the plastics industry has been steadily growing and more and more international companies built production sites in Mexico. Due to the great market potential, ARBURG decided to establish its own subsidiary in 2008 and to expand in 2013 by moving to Querétaro.

Allround technology and service package
The Mexican ARBURG team now includes 25 employees, who serve national and international customers in the automotive, electronics, toy and packaging industries. Services include a hotline staffed by experts, advice in the areas of application technology and automation, a well-equipped spare parts warehouse, showrooms for trials involving ALLROUNDERs and a multi-faceted training programme.
