30/03/2011 – The injection moulding sector is booming again, as the Technology Days 2011 clearly confirmed: Record numbers of visitors, an excellent atmosphere and numerous intensive and project-related technical discussions. More than 5,200 trade visitors from 54 countries came to the ARBURG headquarters in Lossburg between 23 and 26 March 2011 in order to take a close look at the machine manufacturer’s current range of products and services. Some 40 percent of visitors came from outside Germany. The largest groups counted 160 participants and came from France, Switzerland and the US respectively.

27/01/2011 – The traditional Technology Days are being held this spring from March 23 to 26. For four days a unique mix of technology, know-how and advice will be presented to the participants from all over the world. In addition, the anniversary "50 years of ALLROUNDER" is being celebrated.

Shin-Etsu Silicones of America, Inc. and ARBURG, Inc. co-hosted on January 20 their 5th Annual Liquid Silicone Injection Molding Symposium at ARBURG’s state-of-the-art Technology Center Midwest in Elgin, IL.

From February 8 to 10, 2011 ARBURG showcases its well proven ALLROUNDER technology at PLASTEC West, Anaheim, CA at booth # 3910 in Hall B. This year's highlight is the new ARBURG micro-injection module which will be used on an all-electric ALLROUNDER 370 A (55 tons) producing tiny pill capsules, with a part weight of just .05 grams.

Almost 100 customers visited the ARBURG Technology Center (ATC) Midwest in Elgin, Illinois, on June 24, 2010 in order to find out in depth about the injection molding of medical technology products. The main focus was on the transfer of knowledge.

03/19/2010 – This year’s ARBURG Energy Efficiency Award was presented for the first time as part of the Technology Days event at ARBURG’s headquarters. The prize, which is awarded in recognition of special activities in the area of energy efficiency, was presented to Wild & Küpfer AG from Schmerikon, Switzerland. This family-run company develops, produces and assembles high-precision plastic parts and assemblies for international customers from a variety of high-tech industries, such as medical technology.

23/10/09 – ARBURG's presence at Fakuma 2009 was a success. The main focus on energy efficiency and sector-specific solutions attracted a great deal of interest from trade visitors and was perfectly in tune with the current requirements of the injection moulding industry. As hoped, the Fakuma struck a positive note for the future.

13/10/2009 - The ARBURG Energy Efficiency Award 2009 was presented on the evening of the first day of the Fakuma trade fair. The award for special efforts in the area of energy efficiency went to Tyco Electronics. ARBURG will present all facets of its innovative injection molding technology with ten exhibits at the Fakuma show in Friedrichshafen, Germany, from October 13 to 17, 2009. The main focus of our booth will be energy efficient injection molding production as well as solutions for specific sectors.

“We were very pleased with the outcome of the NPE. Our exhibition stand was well frequented on all five days of the exhibition and the quality of the discussions was extremely high,” summarised Friedrich Kanz, Manager of ARBURG’s North American subsidiary.

ARBURG will be represented with six exhibits and a stand area of 5,500 square feet at the NPE in Chicago from June 22 to 26, 2009. On exhibition stand no. 46048 in Hall A (South Building), the company will provide clear evidence of its performance spectrum and its competence in the field of cost-efficient high-tech solutions.

The ARBURG Technology Days are the must-see industry gathering of the international plastics industry and attracts several thousands of customers and prospects to the ARBURG headquarters in Lossburg, Germany each springtime. This was again proven by more than 4,000 visitors from 48 countries. 12/06/2008 – ARBURG communicates the subject of energy efficiency to the world using a truck, open houses and seminars

Customers from all over the world bring technology and application highlights to Lossburg.

ARBURG has defined the efficient use of energy as a corporate objective in 2008. All measures are now being brought together with the “Energy Efficiency Allround” initiative. ARBURG envisages a holistic approach to the efficient use of energy. The goal is not simply to produce the products using as little energy as possible, but rather to use our products and our expertise to efficiently minimize energy consumption among our customers as well.

On 21 February 2008, ARBURG opened its new American Technology Center California in Irvine, CA, in the presence of ARBURG’s Managing Partners, Juliane and Michael Hehl.

ARBURG is showcasing an all-electric ALLROUNDER 570 A (220 ton) injection molding machine with an integrated high-speed in-mold labeling (IML) system.

24/10/2007 – Plastic world meets at K in Düsseldorf / Germany: From 24 to 31 October ARBURG presents in hall 13, stand A 13, new products.

On October 4, 2007, ARBURG opened its new Technology Center Midwest. The opening ceremony was an open-house event which was attended by customers and guests who took the opportunity to tour the facility, review demonstrations of ARBURG application technology and attend a program of topical technical presentations.

The time has arrived once again: From October 24 to 31, 2007, the international plastics industry will meet for the K 2007 world trade fair in Düsseldorf. Once again, ARBURG will use this exceptional event to exhibit innovations, thereby presenting the future industry trends. It is not only the exhibits which are new, but also the two-story ARBURG booth with a floor space of approx. 15,000 square foot in Hall 13, booth A 13.

In recognition of their life’s work and their outstanding service to the plastics industry, the American Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) has awarded the Business Management Award for 2007 to the two ARBURG Managing Partners Eugen and Karl Hehl. The award recognition took place on May 6th during an evening reception at the Millennium Hotel in Cincinnati, Ohio, which was held on the occasion of the SPE Annual Technical Conference (ANTEC).

On 28 March 2007, the official ground-breaking ceremony for the new ARBURG Customer Centre was held in Lossburg. At the heart of the new building will be a show room, which offers sufficient space to house the entire machine series. “With this new building, we confirm our strong commitment to Lossburg as our sole production location,” said Michael Hehl, Managing Partner and Spokesperson for the ARBURG Management Team in his welcoming speech.
