This was the tenth consecutive golf day with a total of 42 customers and suppliers attending. The day started with a nine hole Texas scramble in the morning followed by an eighteen hole Stapleford competition in the afternoon. The afternoon game was enhanced for the players with a number of prizes for 'the longest drive', a 'par 3 champion' competition, and the annual 'allcomers trophy' (a competition for employees and suppliers).
The weather on the day offered perfect conditions and the course was in superb condition all adding to the enjoyment for all. Coming from a wide spectrum of handicaps, the final results in both the Par 3 competition and 18 hole Stapleford was extremely close. The day ended with an evening meal where prizes were awarded to deserving individuals and teams.
