Comprehensive customer support and service are firmly anchored in our corporate philosophy. ARBURG acts globally in order to be as close as possible to customers at their regional locations. Series production at the Lossburg parent factory guarantees the highest product quality while the modular system enables customised configuration options. All this is underpinned by an established service department, which with its comprehensive expertise not only provides customers advice precisely tailored to their requirements prior to the purchase of the relevant machine technology, but ensures they are not left alone with their questions and problems after commissioning. For this reason, the service department at ARBURG is modular, as is the technology itself.
The comprehensive support the ARBURG service package provides to all customers – from planning, design and execution, right through to the commissioning of the injection moulding machine or facility, as well as maintenance and even the training of machine operators – makes ARBURG one of the top partners in the industry and ensures the company’s continuing success.
IT-networked spare part request
Most of ARBURG's subsidiaries are connected via an IT network to ensure rapid global spare parts delivery. If, for instance, a spare part that is urgently required in the USA is on hand in Brazil, ARBURG customer service can request it from here and have it dispatched directly to the North American customer.
Spare part ordering: direct or online
ARBURG has always utilised the most up-to-date technologies in order to effectively facilitate work for customers – in terms of service as well. One example is spare part ordering. It is possible to order the parts either in the conventional manner directly through the subsidiaries or representatives, or via an interactive catalogue on the internet.
Remote maintenance: rapid problem solving
An effective telephone diagnosis service also provides quick assistance in the event of minor production problems. Up-to-date communication technology assists the service technicians in getting to wherever they are needed by the fastest route.
Thanks to a remote diagnosis module, long distances can be crossed in order to obtain information about a given machine. This information then helps the experts in Lossburg to identify problems quickly and to resolve them very effectively through data matching via the machine control system.
Customer training
In-depth training courses impart valuable knowledge on all aspects of ARBURG injection moulding to all customers in order to ensure reliable and efficient production from the outset.
Application technology consulting and projects
Whether an ALLROUNDER has to be adapted to the existing production conditions in terms of performance and equipment, a particular material is required in production or must be combined with another, a mould configuration is under discussion or test moulding is necessary: All our customers can confidently turn to the ARBURG application engineering department. The staff here are all experienced practitioners who have virtually always already dealt with similar cases in the past and who can provide fast and reliable assistance owing to their well-founded knowledge.
The ARBURG project group is also available for when customers require fully customised automated production cells from a single source.
Financing
ARBURG makes tailor-made and low cost offers to its customers for the optimum financing or hire-purchase of machines, robotic systems, production cells or peripherals.
Leasing
An increasing number of companies are unwilling to tie up capital in direct investment for the necessary injection moulding technology. Here too, in conjunction with its partner Süd Leasing, ARBURG offers leasing concepts which do not tie up the customers' development capital unnecessarily while nevertheless providing the full scope of tax benefits.
