Hybrid injection moulding machines for high production capacities
ALLROUNDER H injection moulding machines feature energy-efficient drive technology and achieve maximum performance in the field of thermoplastics processing with short cycle times. In this HIDRIVE machine series, the best from the ARBURG modular component system was combined, to bring a high-quality machine concept.
The combination of
the servo electric clamping unit from the ALLROUNDER A
the hydraulic injection unit from the ALLROUNDER S advance
and performance-adapted hydraulic accumulator technology from the ALLROUNDER S
results in a highly sophisticated machine series with high functionality.

With the ALLROUNDER H, ARBURG offers a powerful combination of electric and hydraulic machine technology.
Production capacity
The ALLROUNDER H machine concept has been configured with the particular aim of achieving a high production capacity. The machines therefore boast high injection performance in relation to the respective clamping force, and combine:
generously sized injection units with hydraulic accumulator technology and
the servo-electric clamping units from the ALLROUNDER A.
Cycle time reduction
All movement axes work completely independently from one another. High acceleration and final speeds combined with the possibility of simultaneous machine movements result in greater cost efficiency by reducing the cycle time. In addition to the servo-electric clamping unit for dynamic mould movements, hydraulic accumulator technology also significantly contributes to the achievement of shorter cycle times. This enables high-volume, dynamic injection flows, which are highly advantageous in the mass production of technical components.
Energy optimisation
The high levels of efficiency of the servoelectric dosage drive and the toggle-type clamping unit ensure that ALLROUNDER H machines are extremely energy efficient. The energy recovery of the servo motors during braking also has a beneficial effect on the machines’ overall energy-efficient consumption. Furthermore, the hydraulic drive features a performance-adapted pump and an electric motor to meet efficiency class EFF1. Together, these factors combine to reduce energy consumption by up to 40 %. All ALLROUNDER H machines bear the ARBURG “e²” Energy Efficiency Label as an indication of their energy-optimised method of operation.

The extensive, technically high-quality standard equipment of the ALLROUNDER H machines is based on proven electric and hydraulic components from ARBURG’s modular component system. A solid, highly stable planetary roller screw drive ensures exceptionally precise positioning of the servo-electric clamping unit. Automatic clamping force control maintains the clamping force at a constantly high level. In the injection unit a position-regulated screw provides maximum reproducibility and part quality. At the same time, the cylinder modules boast a long life due to their highly wear-resistant design. In combination with the SELOGICA machine control system, a series is available that ensure cost-effective part production.
