With its PRELINERs, the ARBURG range includes flexible production systems for bottle preforms, which are ideally suited for small and medium-sized batches thanks to their high degree of flexibility. Depending on the production and preform requirements, horizontally operating PRELINERs H are available in various sizes. In addition to PET, other materials such as PP can be processed.

The centrepiece of these systems are ALLROUNDERs based on the proven technology of the series machines, which have been modified for the production of preforms. Injection units equipped with electro-mechanically driven dosage and special cylinder modules make for short cycle times and better material treatment, even during high levels of plasticising. Moreover, the PRELINER production cell fully incorporates a robotic system, drier, mould, mould conditioning and a refrigeration machine.

The complete PRELINER production cell is operated via the universal SELOGICA control system, whereby the complex production process can be managed easily and reliably. The machine cycle is programmed graphically with the use of symbols, and is displayed clearly in the form of a flow chart. Parameter screens can be selected directly from the sequence programming and all the relevant data can be entered quickly.
In particular, simultaneous or multi-level PRELINER machine processed can be recognised and modified at a glance.
