| | Gas injection moulding technology (GIT) and water injection technology (WIT) can be placed under the generic term fluid injection technology (FIT). Water injection technology (WIT) is a new and innovative process based on the now widespread gas injection technology (GIT). It must be borne in mind that some of these processes require a licence.

The fluid technology is used primarily for moulded parts with thick walls, partial reinforced and ribbed constructions, or parts where cores are to be replaced by a hollow space. Applications are e.g. handles and armrests for the furniture and automotive industries, tabletops, beer crates and pallets but also the production of complex technical parts. Virtually all thermoplastic materials can be processed.
