The ARBURG quality assurance system (AQS) monitors and documents the quality of injection moulding production online. Production series are inspected based on defined quality standards. Quality-relevant production parameters are acquired and processed according to pre-defined monitoring-task criteria. This ensures greater transparency of the entire production process.

The ARBURG host computer system (ALS) registers both machine and order data enabling the central controlling and documentation of the entire production process in a concise manner. The modular design of the system allows progressive expansion depending on operational requirements. The use of ALS makes it possible to react preventively in the event of fluctuations in the process or interruptions in production and enables the detailed evaluation of the collected data over a variety of timeframes.

ARBURG Quality Control (AQC) optimises injection moulding production by means of online process monitoring and quality calculation. The quality characteristics are determined cycle-synchronised for each moulded part produced. Thus, the characteristics of the moulded part are known even before the mould opens. In the event of disruptions in production, the optimum operating point can be readjusted. Current mould data can be transferred directly to the quality-assurance department and the production management.

ARBURG Remote Service (ARS) enables the interrogation and transfer of important machine parameters via an in-house internal computer network as well as externally via telephone or the Internet. This system is principally of interest as a service solution which allows the ARBURG technicians to check the configuration data of the relevant machines and make any necessary adjustments directly in the control system. In conjunction with the ARBURG host computer system ALS, software updates, maintenance, service support and PC remote control are possible.

The PC program COPYLOG implements the central management and backup of all the ALLROUNDER configuration data records. All the machine programs are stored centrally in an archive where they can be copied, renamed or deleted. A disk station is also optionally available to enable the reading in of HYDRONICA or MULTRONICA data records.
