Energy Efficiency as topic of the future
Technology on Tour at ARBURG’s trading partner Su-Pad in Tel Aviv on 17 September 2008 featured high-ranking speaker: Managing Director Technology & Engineering at ARBURG, Herbert Kraibühler, spoke about the company’s holistic approach to energy efficiency and illustrated the energy optimisation potential of the machines and the entire injection-moulding process in his comments. The main presentation was supplemented by the guest presentations “Tandem Mould Technology” by T-Mould and “Ultrasonic Technology” by Herrmann Ultraschall.

Su-Pad Managing Director, Pinchas Sadeh, welcomed the guests to a varied programme and invited them to a comprehensive exchange of views among experts. He emphasised the great interest in the subject of energy-efficient injection moulding: “We are pleased that very many customers see energy efficiency as the topic of the future and consequently express interest in our specialist presentations.”
Intensive trading partnership
The guests with extensive technical know-how expressed strong interest, particularly in the topic of energy efficiency, and unanimously welcomed the fact that ARBURG, at this early stage, is pointing the way to an energy-optimised injection moulding process.

A further highlight of the event was the partnership between ARBURG and Su-Pad, which has now existed for 40 years and which has taken the form of an intensive trading partnership for the last 20 years. All in all, the event generated a great deal of enthusiasm. Some 180 participants took advantage of the opportunity to receive extensive expert consulting.
