On October 4, 2007, ARBURG opened its new Technology Center Midwest. The opening ceremony was an open-house event which was attended by customers and guests who took the opportunity to tour the facility, review demonstrations of ARBURG application technology and attend a program of topical technical presentations.
 
Located in a prime position in Elgin, IL, just 30 minutes from O’Hare international airport, the state of the art facility is a significant investment by ARBURG and further evidence of its commitment to serve and support its ever growing customer base in the Midwest region, offering convenient access to the latest ARBURG technology and a depth of know-how and application expertise.
 
The 560 square meter facility, with capacity for six molding machines ranging in size from 125 kN micro-shot models up to the largest ARBURG ALLROUNDER of 5,000 kN, will be a fully operational Technology Center designed and constructed to provide training, application support, machine demonstrations, mould trials and after-sales service, all on a local basis.
