On June 24, Michael Hehl, Managing Partner of ARBURG, inaugurated the new building in Budapest. He emphasised the high significance of customer proximity both in physical and mental terms, something which is a top priority at ARBURG. This was followed by an open-house event the next day in the ARBURG Technology Center (ATC).

“The customer was, is and remains our most important capital," stressed Michael Hehl during the official opening. “Investing in an attractive location ensures that we can continue to provide our customers in Hungary with first-class support." The new building has 450 m2of usable floorspace.
 
Gabriella Hollik, manager of the ARBURG Hungária Kft. subsidiary, describes one big advantage of the new location: "The move means that training, the spare parts store, service, consulting and sales are now housed under one roof. The centrepiece is the demonstration room for three ALLROUNDER injection moulding machines. It will become the place to go for our customers to test new moulds, receive help with applications, find out about new machines and take part in practice-oriented training courses.”

An open-house event the next day provided an opportunity to get an impression of what ARBURG offers in terms of products, technologies, service and trends in injection moulding. “There was an excellent response to the presentations and speeches,” says subsidiary manager Gabriella Hollik. “This reflects ARBURG’s strong position in Hungary. Anyone who wants to know which innovations to use for cost-effective and efficient plastics processing comes to us for competent advice.”
