01/02/2010 - At Swiss Plastics 2010, ARBURG demonstrated the high-precision production of optical waveguides with microstructures. "This optical application with final quality control using a camera system proved to be a very special attraction", said Marcel Spadini, ARBURG's Swiss Subsidiary Manager, regarding the interest of the stand visitors.
 
"Many trade visitors were impressed by the performance potential of our smallest electric injection moulding machine, an ALLROUNDER 270 A (ALLDRIVE) with a clamping force of 350 kN and a size 70 injection unit", explained Marcel Spadini. "Above all, the high process reliability and the very quiet operation impressed. As the production of high-quality, technical components is gaining increasing importance, with this complex production cell, we have selected exactly the right exhibit for the requirements of the Swiss plastics market."
