07/05/2009 - From 19 to 22 May 2009, ARBURG will present its current machine range at the International Engineering Fair in Nitra, Slovakia. In Hall M4 on exhibition stand no. 35, covering approximately 70 square metres, a hydraulic ALLROUNDER 570 C GOLDEN EDITION with MULTILIFT V SELECT will be demonstrated. This automation solution is not only characterised by its attractive price/performance ratio, but also by the robotic system which can be easily and conveniently programmed via the teach-in function.

Available on the market for about a year, this cost-efficient combination of the proven ALLROUNDER GOLDEN EDITION machines and the servo-electric MULTILIFT V Select robotic system impresses with its performance potential. Its high-quality standard equipment and low-cost automation open up additional potential fields of application for this machine series. The offering comprises not only the machine and robotic system, but a complete production unit including guarding with electrical connections, conveyor belt and CE certification. With the ALLROUNDER 570 C GOLDEN EDITION, featuring a clamping force of 2,000 kN and a size 800 injection unit, ARBURG will present the largest GOLDEN EDITION machine that can be equipped with a MULTILIFT V SELECT robotic system. The exhibit achieves a maximum shot weight of 434 grams of PS. A CD box made from PP with a part weight of 30.3 grams will be produced on the exhibited machine in a cycle time of about ten seconds.

The complete electrical system of the MULTILIFT V SELECT is centrally integrated directly in the device. The integrated robotic system is programmed and controlled via the SELOGICA control system. The teach-in function makes this particularly easy and convenient. The individual steps are performed manually and the various positions are simply confirmed via the “Teach” button. All the necessary parameter entries are then automatically checked and executed in the control system. Simultaneously, SELOGICA 'direct' independently generates the entire robotic sequence and also integrates it in the machine cycle. As with all ARBURG products, the customer can be confident that he is buying tried-and-tested, high-quality technology “Made by ARBURG – made in Germany”, in which all components are perfectly harmonised.

“The Nitra visitors will be able to convince themselves of the performance capability of this automation, the simplicity of the robotic system programming and the attractive price/performance ratio. We regard the exhibit as ideally tailored to the Slovakian plastics market and its demands. Especially standard applications can be further optimised by means of an automation solution and corresponding cost advantages achieved”, says Jaroslav Novak, Czech Subsidiary Manager and responsible for the ARBURG representative office in Slovakia, describing the benefits of this cost-efficient automation solution.
