 | | “Allrounder International” is the new annual slogan for the K trade fair 2007. The slogan is emblematic of the commitment behind the high-tech services of ARBURG, a global player with strong regional ties. Allrounder refers not only to ARBURG’s machines, but also to the worldwide activities of its highly qualified staff. The slogan “Allrounder International” thus carries the appropriate message of competence in terms of both machine technology and individuals, in all languages and in all markets.

Particular attention is being focused on the international project business – the development and fabrication of complex production cells. A dedicated project department coordinates each optimised customer solution individually. The continuously growing project business also owes its success to international reference customers. Requirements differ from country to country and from application to application, so each project in itself is a new challenge for the internationally-proven project department.

ARBURG is opening 2007 with four new machines and all of them reflect the spirit of expansion: at the forefront is the new ALLROUNDER 920 S, which marks an extension of the clamping force range at ARBURG to 5,000 kN. At the same time, the new hydraulic ALLROUNDER 520 U, the new vertical ALLROUNDER 275 V and the new ALLROUNDER 720 S GOLVDEN EDITION were also launched on the international market at the end of 2006, each of which represents the largest machine in its respective series. ARBURG will present the new ALLROUNDER range at trade fairs around the world in 2007.

Owing to the overwhelming success of the product, ARBURG’s management has decided to continue offering this special model with high-tech components beyond the anniversary year. The crowning sixth addition to the machine series, the ALLROUNDER 720 S GOLDEN EDITION, premiered in autumn 2006.

The big event of last year, and therefore in a way, the first international event under the new annual slogan, was the opening of the ARBURG subsidiary in Shenzhen. With this addition, ARBURG’s presence in China now comprises three subsidiaries and three representatives.

In order to be better equipped for the future, more international ARBURG subsidiaries have invested in highly modern buildings. Following the relocation of the Turkish subsidiary in 2005, the Dutch and Thai subsidiaries were also able to move into new buildings equipped with optimal service capacities.

Service quality is one of the keys to worldwide, sustainable success. Along with the quality of its service technicians, ARBURG also offers comprehensive consulting expertise in all areas of modern injection moulding. The International Technical Support (ITS) department draws on practical experience to provide rapid support and concrete assistance for technical applications around the globe. Service at ARBURG – the service to the customer – begins long before the sale of the machine. Subsidiaries and trading partners ensure comprehensive, individual customer consultation on a worldwide basis. This is also complemented by the extensive after-sales service business which, in turn, rounds off ARBURG’s service offering as a complete service provider.

Understanding local cultures is a basic prerequisite for business success abroad, in foreign cultures. An eagerness to look beyond regional horizons is the starting point for international success. Despite ARBURG’s international orientation, ARBURG’s managing partners and management team have made a clear commitment to Germany as production location.
