An ideal environment for all employees
The satisfaction of all employees at and with their workplace must be ensured in order to create an innovative working climate characterised by motivation and vision throughout the company. The catchphrase used to summarize all the vocational and further training activities at ARBURG is "Coordinated personnel development". In times of increasingly demanding professional requirements, the company has recognised the importance of providing vocational and further training for the qualification of employees. This area is crucial for maintaining competitiveness in the future.
Teamwork
Under the term "Team allround", for instance, a form of teamwork has been introduced which keeps the company's flat hierarchies open and transparent. Ergonomics and occupational safety are important core points. The new factory building, ARBURG II, provides a prime example of this. Light premises with large areas of glass, providing a close link with the environment around the company in emotional terms characterise the new building as much as the comprehensive, ultra-modern infrastructure. Working procedures are also structured in accordance with the latest research.
Excellent training system
ARBURG has been investing in its employees’ expertise from the very beginning. The company’s vocational training scheme, which has won a number of awards, employs several full-time teaching staff in the commercial and technical training section, which is housed in its own, modern training workshops. The training programme includes courses for vocational qualifications as industrial clerk and IT specialist for the commercial sector, electronics technician for automation technology, industrial technician, engineering technician, mechatronics technician, process engineering technician for plastics and rubber technologies and technical draughtsperson, as well as courses in conjunction with the universities for cooperative education in the fields of mechanical engineering, information technology, industry, international business administration, commercial information technology and industrial engineering and management. Students at the universities of cooperative education receive support during their studies.
Qualified students can consolidate the material learned during their studies under practical conditions, complementing the theoretical basis of their work. Teaching schemes and internships run in collaboration with schools in the region lead to better mutual understanding and provide pupils with greater insight into the working environment.
Further training
In the wake of vocational training, ARBURG also provides a number of internal and external training opportunities which are of considerable use to committed employees as they plan their careers.
