ARBURG has been investing in its employees’ expertise from the very beginning. The company’s vocational training scheme, which has won a number of awards, employs several full-time teaching staff in the commercial and technical training section, which is housed in its own, modern training workshops. The training programme includes courses for vocational qualifications as industrial clerk and IT specialist for the commercial sector, electronics technician for automation technology, industrial technician, engineering technician, mechatronics technician, process engineering technician for plastics and rubber technologies and technical draughtsperson, as well as degree programs in conjunction with the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University in the fields of mechanical engineering, information technology, industry, international business administration, commercial information technology and industrial engineering and management. Students receive support during their studies. Qualified students can consolidate the material learned during their studies under practical conditions, complementing the theoretical basis of their work. Teaching schemes and internships run in collaboration with schools in the region lead to better mutual understanding and provide pupils with greater insight into the working environment.
