Centre of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and ARBURG Shenzhen was held in Shenzhen. The customers and interested company representatives were invited to a one-day seminar about Ultra-precision Injection Molding Technology for LED Products and Optical Components.
 
On Friday, April 09, 2010, a joint seminar by Advanced Optics Manufacturing The morning session took place in JW Marriot Hotel in Shenzhen with two speeches. Dr. Sandy TO, Associate Director of Advanced Optics Manufacturing Centre held the first speech on optical products, molding technology. Mr. Lushun YAN with master degree in plastics technology, application support of ARBURG Shenzhen held the second speech about injection moulding machines for optical parts.
 
Totally 33 participants were benefiting greatly from the speeches.
 
After lunch the attendees experienced the optical components process in the premises of ARBURG Shenzhen where LED lenses were produced on a ALLROUNDER 470 H 1000-170, a hybrid injection moulding machine for high production capacities.
 
The participants said, “Optical is a very ‘Energy-saving’ hot topic nowadays which they have great interests.” They vividly took the chance to talk to the experts about their specific interests and needs.
