30/03/2011 – The injection moulding sector is booming again, as the Technology Days 2011 clearly confirmed: Record numbers of visitors, an excellent atmosphere and numerous intensive and project-related technical discussions. More than 5,200 trade visitors from 54 countries came to the ARBURG headquarters in Lossburg between 23 and 26 March 2011 in order to take a close look at the machine manufacturer’s current range of products and services. Some 40 percent of visitors came from outside Germany. The largest groups counted 160 participants and came from France, Switzerland and the US respectively.

26/03/2011 – During this year’s Chinaplas in Guangzhou, at exhibition stand No. A41 in Hall 5.1, ARBURG will present an example of its HIDRIVE hybrid machine series, which is characterised by high productivity, short cycle times and energy efficiency. This potential will be impressively demonstrated by a large ALLROUNDER 720 H with a clamping force of 3,200 kN and size 2100 injection unit, featuring a high-speed, thin-walled application from the packaging sector. Furthermore, a hydraulic ALLROUNDER 470 C GOLDEN EDITION machine will be presented, which combines high-tech with an attractive price.

On December 2, 2010 the second part of a joint seminar on Precise Injection Moulding offered by HB-Therm AG and ARBURG Shenzhen was successfully held in Shenzhen, PR China.

27/01/2011 – The traditional Technology Days are being held this spring from March 23 to 20. For four days a unique mix of technology, know-how and advice will be presented to the participants from all over the world. In addition, the anniversary "50 years of ALLROUNDER" is being celebrated.

At the leading world trade fair, the K 2010 in Düsseldorf, ARBURG presented new products from its machine, control and robotic system ranges.

Held for the 4th consecutive time, a smaller but successful Oktoberfest 2010 was celebrated by ARBURG Shenzhen on September 17, 2010.

Twenty-five years since opening of first Arburg subsidiary in France / Anniversary celebrations in Aulnay-sous-Bois on     15 June

On June 23, 2010 a one-day seminar on LSR (Liquid Silicone Rubber) Injection Moulding Technology, hosted by ARBURG Shenzhen, was successfully held at the JW Marriott Hotel in Shenzhen.

Since June 2010, ARBURG has been represented by a fully-owned organisation in the Austrian market. The headquarters is located in Vienna, but the sales and service personnel work in the field. They thus not only have direct contact to their respective customers in the Alpine republic, but are also available at very short notice.

At the Technology Days 2010, ARBURG launched its new micro-injection module, which operates with an 8-mm injection screw. This is combined with a second screw, which is responsible for melting the material.

On Friday, April 09, 2010, a joint seminar by Advanced Optics Manufacturing Centre of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and ARBURG Shenzhen was held in Shenzhen

22.01.10 – The traditional Technology Days are being held this spring from March 18 to 20. In 2010 the complex topic of “Efficient manufacturing” is at the core of the three day event which draws each year anew thousands of international visitors to the headquarters in Lossburg, Germany. The Packaging Technology Forum.has been added as a new feature to the event.

ARBURG celebrated the five-year anniversary of its foundation in conjunction with an Open House event held on 27 November 2009.

23/10/09 – ARBURG's presence at Fakuma 2009 was a success. The main focus on energy efficiency and sector-specific solutions attracted a great deal of interest from trade visitors and was perfectly in tune with the current requirements of the injection moulding industry. As hoped, the Fakuma struck a positive note for the future.

13/10/09 – ARBURG presents all facets of our innovative injection moulding technology with ten exhibits at the Fakuma show in Friedrichshafen from 13th to 17th October 2009. The main focus of our stand are energy efficiency and solutions for specific sectors.

13/10/2009 - The ARBURG Energy Efficiency Award 2009 was presented on the evening of the first day of the Fakuma trade fair. The award for special efforts in the area of energy efficiency went to Tyco Electronics. The internationally active group of companies is among the world’s leading manufacturers of electronic components, network solutions, undersea telecommunications systems and special solutions.

What began in 2007 has already become a tradition: ARBURG Shenzhen celebrated its third Oktoberfest on Sept. 25.

ARBURG was more than satisfied over the outcome of this year’s Chinaplas exhibition. Despite worldwide difficult situation, the interest of high-end injection moulding technology was large.

ARBURG presented its extensive range of powder injection moulding (PIM) solutions to trade visitors at the PM Asia in the Everbright Convention Centre in Shanghai.

At the Technology Days 2009, ARBURG has presented several novelties.

ARBURG ‘handed over’ the new Customer Center at its headquarters in Lossburg to its customers by mid of March. A first opening event – with all contracting companies involved – was followed with the official opening ceremonies in the presence of German and international customers. Adjacent ARBURG opened its doors for the traditional ARBURG Technology Days to present to over 3,000 trade visitors from all over the world the latest ARBURG technology as well as the all new Customer Center.

Demand for high-tech machines is growing in China. In response, ARBURG has chosen three special exhibits for the exhibition stand no. D 15 in Hall 5.1 at the Chinaplas show, which will be held from 18 to 21 May 2009 in Guangzhou

From 6 to 8 April 2009, ARBURG will be presenting its extensive powder injection moulding (PIM) range to Chinese trade visitors on Stands B15 & B16 at the PM Asia in the Shanghai Everbright Convention Center.

At the Fakuma 2008 the ALLROUNDER GOLDEN EDITION was presented with a MULTILIFT V SELECT for the first time. With this new combination ARBURG offers a complete production unit including guarding with all electrical connections, conveyor belt and CE certification.

From Nov 19 - 22 ARBURG took part in the 10th “China Dongguan International Plastics, Packaging, Rubber, Diecasting & Foundry Exhibition” (DMP) which was held in the Guangdong International Exhibition Center in Houjie, Dongguan.

After a successful premiere last year ARBURG Shenzhen held its second Oktoberfest on Sept. 26. The event started in the early afternoon with a seminar about “Energy Efficiency Allround”.

The newly established ARBURG Energy Efficiency Award was presented for the first time on 14 October 2008 as part of the Fakuma. The prize, which is awarded in recognition of special efforts in the area of energy efficiency, was presented to WAGO Kontakttechnik in Minden. The exclusive event was attended by around 40 invited guests. Michael Hehl, Managing Partner and Spokesperson for the ARBURG Management Team, presented the award to WAGO’s Managing Director Ulrich Bohling.

12/06/2008 – ARBURG communicates the subject of energy efficiency to the world using a truck, open houses and seminars

ARBURGs participation at the Chinaplas was an allround success. With four machine’s on demonstration, the trade visitors could gather valuable information on the ARBURG machine series. A broad spread of applications was impressively demonstrated by the performance and flexibility of the ALLROUNDER machines.

Customers from all over the world bring technology and application highlights to Lossburg.

ARBURG has defined the efficient use of energy as a corporate objective in 2008. All measures are now being brought together with the “Energy Efficiency Allround” initiative. ARBURG envisages a holistic approach to the efficient use of energy. The goal is not simply to produce the products using as little energy as possible, but rather to use our products and our expertise to efficiently minimise energy consumption among our customers as well.

ARBURG will be exhibiting at the Chinaplas in Shanghai from 17 to 21 April 2008. On exhibition stand no. G21 in Hall E1, trade visitors will be impressed by the performance and versatility of the ARBURG machines, as demonstrated by the four exhibits. An electric ALLROUNDER 420 A, a hydraulic ALLROUNDER 320 S, a hydraulic ALLROUNDER 420 C GOLDEN EDITION and the ALLROUNDER 275 vertical machine will be presented. The wide range of applications includes the medical technology, optics and automotive sectors as well as the encapsulation of inserts.

On March 5, ARBURG Shenzhen invited customers and interested company representatives to a one-day seminar about Powder Injection Moulding.

On 21 February 2008, ARBURG opened its new American Technology Center California in Irvine, CA, in the presence of ARBURG’s Managing Partners, Juliane and Michael Hehl.

25/02/2008 – Take the unique opportunity to find out more about the latest developments in technology and trends within the injection moulding industry at the Technology Days in Lossburg from 3th to 5th April 2008.

Since 1 January 2008, ARBURG has been represented in Mexico by its own subsidiary – ARBURG S.A. de C.V. – thus giving due recognition to the enormous potential of the Mexican market. This move is partly the result of the increased presence of international global players who are stepping up their production in Mexico, as well as the ever-higher quality demands made by the Mexican customers.

The new premises of the ARBURG subsidiary in Shanghai were officially opened during an inaugural celebration held on 6 December 2007. As a representative of the ARBURG parent company, Helmut Heinson, Managing Director Sales, welcomed some 150 guests.

29/11/2007 – On 21 November 2007, the ARBURG Shenzhen organisation invited for a technical seminar on the multiple working positions of ALLROUNDER injection moulding machines.

On the occasion of the world trade fair K 2007, which took place from 24 to 31 October in Düsseldorf, ARBURG has launched new products.

24/10/2007 – Plastic world meets at K in Düsseldorf / Germany: From 24 to 31 October ARBURG presents in hall 13, stand A 13, new products.

At the ARBURG subsidiary in Shenzhen, more than 40 guests were attending the open house event which was organized as a traditional German “Oktoberfest”. Helmut Heinson, ARBURG managing director sales, and Max Man, ARBURG subsidiary manager Shenzhen, enjoyed the event and thanked everybody for attending.

On 31 May 2007 ARBURG Shenzhen held a two-day seminar on Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) injection moulding for customers and interested people. With more than 70 participants on both days the seminar was a great success. It was partly held at Jinjiang Shenzhen Airlines International Hotel and in the premises of ARBURG Shenzhen.

In recognition of their life’s work and their outstanding services to the plastics industry, the American Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) has awarded the Business Management Award for 2007 to the two ARBURG Managing Partners Eugen and Karl Hehl. The prize-giving took place on 6 May during an evening reception, at the Millennium Hotel in Cincinnati/Ohio, which was held on the occasion of the SPE Annual Technical Conference (ANTEC).

On 28 March 2007, the official ground-breaking ceremony for the new ARBURG Customer Centre was held in Lossburg. At the heart of the new building will be a show room, which offers sufficient space to house the entire machine series. “With this new building, we confirm our strong commitment to Lossburg as our sole production location,” said Michael Hehl, Managing Partner and Spokesperson for the ARBURG Management Team in his welcoming speech.

Red, the colour of happiness, accompanied the guests through the official programme of the inauguration event in Shenzhen, when ARBURG officially opened the company’s 20th subsidiary on 16 November.

As a surprise, ARBURG presented the new ALLROUNDER 720 S GOLDEN EDITION at the Fakuma 2006, which completes the successful line.
The new machine offers a distance of 720 x 720 millimetres between tie bars, a clamping force of 3,000 kN and a 1,300 injection unit size. Maximum shot weights of 826 grams of polystyrene can therefore be achieved.

At the Fakuma 2006, the new large ALLROUNDER 920 S celebrated its premiere. This machine with a clamping force of 5,000 kN and a distance of 920 x 920 mm between tie bars represents an important increase in the performance of the S series and therefore of the entire ARBURG machine range.

With the new ALLROUNDER 275 V, ARBURG launched at Fakuma 2006 its second hydraulic vertical machine with a fixed free-space design clamping unit. The new machine features generously dimensioned mould mounting platens and a maximum clamping force of 250 kN; it can be equipped with injection unit sizes 70 or 100.
