China international medical equipment fair CMEF) welcomed his 60th anniversary from Oct. 29 to Nov. 01, 2008. ARBURG debuted in CMEF with full electric machine 570 A. ARBURG’s machine display the production of 3 millilitre needle tube.

The newly established ARBURG Energy Efficiency Award was presented for the first time on 14 October 2008 as part of the Fakuma. The prize, which is awarded in recognition of special efforts in the area of energy efficiency, was presented to WAGO Kontakttechnik in Minden. The exclusive event was attended by around 40 invited guests. Michael Hehl, Managing Partner and Spokesperson for the ARBURG Management Team, presented the award to WAGO’s Managing Director Ulrich Bohling.

ARBURG presented an ALLROUNDER GOLDEN EDITION injection moulding machine on CIM exhibition in Tianjin.

ARBURG and Wacker joined forces at Shanghai new international expo centre from August 13 to 16 to demonstrate all aspects of LSR injection technology in a combined project, including LSR material mixing, feedstock, LSR mould, injection moulding and demoulding. Visitors were able to learn more about the complete LSR injection moulding process during a seminar.

ARBURG demonstrated full electric machine 420 A with thin-wall products. The high output attracted many customers’ attention, and bring them the new technology for packing industry.

12/06/2008 – ARBURG communicates the subject of energy efficiency to the world using a truck, open houses and seminars

ARBURGs participation at the Chinaplas was an allround success. With four machine’s on demonstration, the trade visitors could gather valuable information on the ARBURG machine series. A broad spread of applications was impressively demonstrated by the performance and flexibility of the ALLROUNDER machines.

ARBURG has defined the efficient use of energy as a corporate objective in 2008. All measures are now being brought together with the “Energy Efficiency Allround” initiative. ARBURG envisages a holistic approach to the efficient use of energy. The goal is not simply to produce the products using as little energy as possible, but rather to use our products and our expertise to efficiently minimise energy consumption among our customers as well.
