ARBURG will present all facets of our innovative injection moulding technology with ten exhibits at the Fakuma show in Friedrichshafen from 14th to 18th October 2008. The main focus of our stand will be energy efficient injection moulding production and innovations in the field of robotic systems.

Customers from all over the world bring technology and application highlights to Lossburg.

ARBURG will be exhibiting at the Chinaplas in Shanghai from 17 to 21 April 2008. On exhibition stand no. G21 in Hall E1, trade visitors will be impressed by the performance and versatility of the ARBURG machines, as demonstrated by the four exhibits. An electric ALLROUNDER 420 A, a hydraulic ALLROUNDER 370 S, a hydraulic ALLROUNDER 420 C GOLDEN EDITION and the ALLROUNDER 275 vertical machine will be presented. The wide range of applications includes the medical technology, optics and automotive sectors as well as the encapsulation of inserts.

On 21 February 2008, ARBURG opened its new American Technology Center California in Irvine, CA, in the presence of ARBURG’s Managing Partners, Juliane and Michael Hehl.

25/02/2008 – Take the unique opportunity to find out more about the latest developments in technology and trends within the injection moulding industry at the Technology Days in Lossburg from 3th to 5th April 2008.

Since 1 January 2008, ARBURG has been represented in Mexico by its own subsidiary – ARBURG S.A. de C.V. – thus giving due recognition to the enormous potential of the Mexican market. This move is partly the result of the increased presence of international global players who are stepping up their production in Mexico, as well as the ever-higher quality demands made by the Mexican customers.

The new premises of the ARBURG subsidiary in Shanghai were officially opened during an inaugural celebration held on 6 December 2007. As a representative of the ARBURG parent company, Helmut Heinson, Managing Director Sales, welcomed some 150 guests.

On the occasion of the world trade fair K 2007, which took place from 24 to 31 October in Düsseldorf, ARBURG has launched new products.

In recognition of their life’s work and their outstanding services to the plastics industry, the American Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) has awarded the Business Management Award for 2007 to the two ARBURG Managing Partners Eugen and Karl Hehl. The prize-giving took place on 6 May during an evening reception, at the Millennium Hotel in Cincinnati/Ohio, which was held on the occasion of the SPE Annual Technical Conference (ANTEC).

On 28 March 2007, the official ground-breaking ceremony for the new ARBURG Customer Centre was held in Lossburg. At the heart of the new building will be a show room, which offers sufficient space to house the entire machine series. “With this new building, we confirm our strong commitment to Lossburg as our sole production location,” said Michael Hehl, Managing Partner and Spokesperson for the ARBURG Management Team in his welcoming speech.
